Learn and solve easy exercises. these exercises specially designed for class 7 students. Read the following Examples and change them into passive voice. At the end of the post, you will find their solution. 


Examples are as under; 

  1. We speak the truth.
  2. You boil eggs.
  3. My mother loves me.
  4. You draw a map of India.
  5. He sings a song.
  6. She washes my clothes 
  7. I teach them English.
  8. We help them in every way.
  9. You praise her very much
  10. He kills a snake.
  11. We play football in the afternoon.
  12. They break toys.
  13. You polish your shoes yourself.
  14. I learn this poem by heart.  

Requirement:- Change the above active voice sentences into Passive voice Affirmative, negative, and Interrogative Sentences. Change in verbs, pronouns and add "by".




Solution 1 

Passive Voice Affirmative Sentences 

  1. The truth is spoken by us.
  2. Eggs are boiled by you.
  3. I am loved by my mother.
  4. A map of India is drawn by you.
  5. A song is sung by him.
  6. My clothes are washed by her.
  7. English is taught them by me.
  8. They are helped in every way by us.
  9. She is praised by you very much.
  10. A snake is killed by him.
  11. Football is played by us in the afternoon.
  12. Toys are broken by them.
  13. Your shoes are polished by you yourself.
  14. This poem is learned by heart by me.


Solution 2


Passive Voice Negative Sentences 

  1. The truth is not spoken by us.
  2. Eggs are not boiled by you.
  3. I am not loved by my mother.
  4. A map of India is not drawn by you.
  5. A song is not sung by him.
  6. My clothes are not washed by her.
  7. English is not taught by me.
  8. They are not helped in every way by us.
  9. She is not praised by you very much.
  10. A snake is not killed by him.
  11. Football is not played by us in the afternoon.
  12. Toys are not broken by them.
  13. Your shoes are not polished by you yourself.
  14. This poem is not learned by heart by me.

Passive Voice Interrogative Sentences 

  1. Is the truth spoken by us?
  2. Are eggs boiled by you?
  3. Am I loved by my mother?
  4. Is a map of India drawn by you?
  5. Is a song sung by him?
  6. Are my clothes washed by her?
  7. Is English taught them by me?
  8. Are they helped in every way by us?
  9. Is she praised by you very much?
  10. Is a snake killed by him?
  11. Is football played by us in the afternoon?
  12. Are Toys broken by them?
  13. Are your shoes polished by you yourself?
  14. Is this poem learned by heart by me?
